My DIY Anti-Dalek Neutron Exterminator bazooka is done.
Not perfect by a Dalek mile but it'll do.
Made from a toy bazooka and two hoover pipes. A few junky bits too.
The original colour was tricky to pin down. I opted for this blue, since I had it in.
More pictures to follow of it complete with brand new packaging on the blog's birthday!
Now where's Davros?
Brilliant! It's a shame it doesn't fire. Are you making the ammo to sit on the card too? Bill
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Had an idea about the ammo!
DeleteAnother great project, completed at lightning speed.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul, it was fun!
DeleteAwesome! Daleks beware!
ReplyDeleteE X T ER M I N A T E!
DeleteThat is a great build Woodsy! The speed at which you do these is amazing! I would be mulling it over for a year or two, give up on it, and sell off the bits and pieces!
ReplyDeleteha ha, thanks Ed! Our childminding has recently lessened so I find I have more time now to tinker!
DeleteYou are the Thal weapon-master, Woodsy :)
ReplyDeleteha ha, thanks Tone. Praise indeed! If I ever have to go to Skaro I should be OK with this bazooka!
DeleteOh, I like that mention of packaging!
ReplyDeleteLast year I worked on the TikTok horror series Greystanes (coming out of retirement to design and build the main villain!) One of the plot points featured a couple of Super Soaker water blasters.
I took contemporary toys and reworked and repainted them to look more like 90s toys. I then took the existing packages, covered them in cheap wrapping paper (this was a very low budget production!) And designed period style graphics for the boxes.
I was thrilled to see all that extra work get an establishing close up!
Yep, thanks to Bill there will be packaging to come Looey. Your Greystanes toy props sound fabulous. Are you allowed to show us?
