Hey guyz,
I don't know if you've seen much of my home-grown art before, but occasionally when I'm bored stiff, I like to get on the computer and cobble together images using my toys, often times gaining inspiration from vintage sci-fi art. If you're interested, I can send photos every so often.

This image consists of an Alpha 1 Rocket (by Scientific Products), some Tri-ang figures, my home-made diorama, and a background photo taken by Bettina during one of our blood-red sunsets.
This is incredible! A miniature diorama, reminiscent of an f/x scene for a vintage Sci-Fi movie or TV series of the 50s or 60s, and it also reminds me of a photo you might find in a circa 1969 Christmas retail catalog like Sears, Roebuck. Very evocative, instant nostalgia, more please! SFZ
ReplyDeleteMany Thanx Zigg! Most of my images use vintage space craft and nearly all have a pulp comic feel to them
DeleteYou captured the practical effects / miniatures vibe from film and TV which I love so much - very impressive! SFZ
DeleteNice one Ed.
ReplyDeleteKeep 'em coming !
Many Thanx Mish! I'll be sending more submissions shortly.

ReplyDeleteThanx Paul! More to come, I promise.
DeleteLovely work Ed, the angry red planet!
ReplyDeletePrecisely! Bettina's photos have set the tone for quite a few of my arty images and the bloody sunsets are a favorite!
