Nice chrome! Are those parts vacuum metallised or did you have to paint them? If so, Bravo! It all looks great! I assume you found this Web page during your research...
Thanks. I did make a scratchbuild, it was a few years before 1999! Still got it, it was in one shot of my spacesuit chest pack that you featured a while ago.
Are you fans paying attention to the new Space 1999 role-playing game release? With an official Technical Operations Manual? Not for me, but I think you folks are the fans, so here you are: https://www.gerryanderson.com/sign-up-to-the-brand-new-space-1999-roleplaying-game/

The model comes with chrome parts. If anything they are a little too shiny, I did sand them back a bit. The catacombs site is really useful.
DeleteWowee! What a neat model! A perfect paint job too!
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is tough to find gaps in the summer rain to get any spray painting done!
ReplyDeleteTotally professional finish, Kevin. I always liked the unorthadox design of this futuristic weapon from 1999.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Yep, I've always liked the design too. I find I've made quite a few Space 1999 props without planning to!
DeleteLovely thing that Kev. Looks great. Have you ever made from from scratch?
