I saw this SpaceX and Apollo Moon Exploring lot ages ago and kept the snap. Just looking again I cannot work out what the paperwork is. Can you? There's a curled paper next to the Zeroid and there's a small something below the Cruiser 1. An antenna?
Any idea?
Is the antenna from the Spacex 2 telescope?
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean Kev.
DeleteI tracked down the image source, from a live auction in 2020. Here's a nice large version of that pic: https://portal-images.azureedge.net/auctions-2020/srsta10177/images/cac69aba-2a72-40e0-a407-abc000d205e8.jpg
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, that is a solar panel from the Spacex 2 ATS telescope. Also most of a Booster Rocket and a nice Molab - I hope the lucky winner realises how lucky he-she is.
The mysterious paper looks like an instruction sheet for a Supercar toy. The paper is just transparent enough to allow the text at the bottom to be read, which says Remco Industries with their address. Number in the corner reads 2205-403 which Google finds nothing for...
Best -- Paul
Fabulous Paul. Yes I see it. Clearly too, Remco. It's there programmable vehicle https://www.hakes.com/Auction/ItemDetail/76591/MIKE-MERCURY-SUPERCAR-BATTERY-OPERATED-BOXED-REMCO-VEHICLE. They released a Land of the Giants version too. Mystery solved, thanks Paul. It is a lovely SpaceX lot.
