I saw this sleek blue vintage Jensen Interceptor on Ebay recently and I think I died and went to Heaven!
Being my favourite car, ever since I held the gloriously sleek miniature Corgi Rockets version as a kid, I very nearly pressed Buy It Now, but at over £35K I would have had to sell our house!
I'll just change my name I think. To Jensen. Jensen Interceptor!
What's your favourite car readers? Do you own one?
One of my VFX contemporaries had a chocolate brown metallic one.
ReplyDeleteIf I was going to have a statement car, I think it would be a "Borsalino" Citroen B 14...
Mmm, chocolate brown. What a car! I'll have to look the Borsalino up Looey. Never heard of it.
DeleteMy favorite is a Jag E-type, maybe second place is a 70's Corvette (I almost had one). I'd settle for another Miata, I had mine for ten years. Had to sell it when my little one scheduled an appearance.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes, an E Type! Fab! Like Austin Powers! And Corvette, an American classic. Sorry you sold it.
DeleteIf I had to have a car, it would have to be a 1969 Corvette Stingray or a classic Dodge Charger. I'd also have to learn to drive, but thats another matter. Bill
ReplyDeleteOh my. The Dodge Charger! That would be parked next to the Jensen and I'd have to choose which to drive tut Garage shop to buy mi chocolate fudge milkshake!
DeleteMy Father owned a 1966 Ford Thunderbird painted copper. Beautiful thing.
ReplyDeleteIf not that, I'd like a Citroen DS.
In the fictional world, I'd love to have Straker's car from UFO.
Either that or the 2066 Ford Thunderbird from my comic strip, 21st Century Fox. :)
Apparently after I'd left the UK in the early 70's, some of my father's friends bought a car...
DeleteIt was an actual SHADO jeep! Supposedly the Police were continually harassing them about it's road worthiness, so they got rid of it!
Wow, a SHADO jeep. How cool is that Looey! One was sold a few years back!
DeleteAnd Scott, when you get Strakers Car come and pick me up. There's room for two I think!
