Wouldn't say I'm familiar with him, but I do know he painted the covers for the Perry Rhodan sci fi series of books, from the 60s onwards. I like his work. Very colourful, graphic and 'pulp fiction' in style.
Well, I wasn't familiar with him before, but it inspired a neat little internet image search! Very colorful and creative!
BTW, don't want to change the subject, but I'm finishing up my kidnapping story with some rather colorful artwork this week. The Matt Mason Firebolt Laser Cannon in Action: http://www.hirezfox.com/21cf/d/20240205.html

Love that Firebolt Cannon and the Helijet. They look great Scott!
DeleteThat’s a wow! Very similar in style to our beloved Shigeru Komatsuzaki. Very “pulp fiction.” Very “Golden Age.” Love it! SFZ
ReplyDeleteI see what you mean with Shigeru SF. Yes!
