I was recently watching a modern episode of Thunderbirds Are Go called Ring of Fire with Junior [secretly wishing it was the original show!]
Half-dozing on his futon I caught an image in the corner of my eye.
'That's the Eagle Transporter!' I cried.
Or at least its nose.
Junior didn't know what I was on about. Space 1999 hasn't appeared on our joint radar yet.
I dozed off again.
Anyone know what the Eagle is doing in Thunderbirds Are Go?
I'm guessing it's some kind of homage to Anderson's later show.
ReplyDeleteI think these 'in jokes', put there to be spotted by fans, are called 'Easter Eggs' these days.
I like Easter Eggs Mish. Milk or White chocolate. Never dark. Clever name for hidden stuff.
DeleteYep, in this version, Gordon has a video screen in the door to Thunderbird 4's launch bay that plays a loop of Stingray in action!
ReplyDeleteNow that's nesting Kev!
