Woodsy & Gang
I got this Toy State Intl Ltd James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5 around 2013-2014 as a birthday present from my youngest daughter. No scale is listed but it appears to be about 1/18 scale. The batteries still have enough juice in them to play the sounds back and this is maybe only the second time its been removed from the box.

Thats gorgeous Ed! I love the buttons on top!
ReplyDeleteThanx Woodsy! It's a neat toy for sure!
DeleteThat’s a pretty one! SFZ
ReplyDeleteThank you - it's pretty fun!
DeleteWonder if 007 was ever actually in Vegas Ed?
ReplyDeleteYes, 'Diamonds Are Forever' had him romping around The Strip with Jill St. John
DeleteDo Americans like Bond Ed?
DeleteOh yeah!!! He's big over here for sure! When I was younger I was more into Little Green Army Men but enjoyed the heck out of TV shows like "I Spy" with Robert Culp and Bill Cosby, "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." with Robert Vaughn and David McCallum, then "Get Smart" with Don Adams. I didn't get into Bond at first because we simply didn't go to theaters that much and my mom was just not into him (she's the one who took me to the movies - I don't ever recall a time when dad went). I had to wait until the Bond movies finally came on TV and when they did I thoroughly enjoyed them.
DeleteI think he is in 'Diamonds Are Forever'.
ReplyDeleteFascinating. I've just picked up a 1958 Pan paperback of Diamonds, as part of a Bond bundle. I paid pence, not gems.
