Woodsy,
Here is my stab at the Glencoe Brontosaurus skeleton, originally an ITC/Ringo kit from the mid-60s.
I decided not to paint the bones, as they were molded in a lovely ivory, but tried to have some fun with the base. Bone pieces fit well with just a little whittling.
50 parts exactly. This beast is over 20” long!

Wow, that one really is a monster. It must have been hard to photograph something that big.
ReplyDeleteYes! Getting the right angle was tough, but a very fun build. I felt like a teenager again! SFZ
DeleteThat's a big kit !
ReplyDeleteNice shots Rob. Give a good sense of scale.
Thank you kindly - this was fun! SFZ
DeleteAn exercise in perseverance. Well done!
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Whittling and assembling those twelve neck vertebrae was quite a process! SFZ
DeleteBeautiful Rob. Takes me right back to the ...... Jurassic! Ha ha. I meant the Sixties when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. Great stuff. How do you follow a Brontosaurus?
