Only the yesterday when we were driving to a tree farm did I say to the Missus that we never see anything massive being transported on the roads anymore. Like huge machinery or god forbid, missiles like we did in the Seventies.
No giants on the roads.
Then I saw this on the BBC Scotland news and had to smile. Now that is BIG!
Have you seen anything ginormous being transported readers? Do/ did you have any toys that would have done the job?
On that score, I'm building a tiny replica of a huge rocket transporter from Thunderbirds!
ReplyDeleteDoes a space shuttle count?
ReplyDeleteNot half!
DeleteIntriguing Kev!
DeleteNot far from where I live, this happened. https://themichlinguide.files.wordpress.com/2022/04/shuttle.jpg
ReplyDeleteSimply awesome that Baron!
DeleteGood Grief. That is certainly big. I have never seen anything even close to that.
ReplyDeleteThey planned the whole route across the city in advance. Took out traffic signals and street lamps, closed off traffic, and in that photo it's going over a major highway by the airport. It was more than six lanes wide.
