Today's catch at Donny car boot. A decent bag. See what you reckon.
LtoR:
Back: unknown figure, two Nacoral oldie cars, Scully
Middle: Gen1 Optimus, two mini Gen1 Transformers, unknown figure, Gen1 Optimus
Front: Speed King Cougar, Mattel 1968 Plastic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with raft
Any good?
Any idea about the two unknown figures?
The Mattel plastic Chitty is a new one on me. Alas it's missing it's grille and figures but I was chuffed to find it with its inflatable raft. Is it a toy you know?
You're going to have to try and find Mulder now!
ReplyDeleteThe figure is out there!
DeleteActually those are not Optimus Primes. They are Ultra Magnus. The color is the giveaway. His trailer would have been a mix of blue, red, white and opened like a car carrier and transformed into his body.
ReplyDeleteCheers Lance. I'm still a Transformers beginner. I will do these two up a bit I think. Never see any trailers at car boot sales. Have you got a lot of Transformers?
DeleteFar fewer than you’d think. Maybe 18ish which spans the years awkwardly. I tend to buy what appeals to me at the time or are some of the Japanese toys that got sucked into being part of the transformer line. I have an original Diaclone that I got back in the mid to late 70s. It has lost the fists, shoulder bits and weapon over the years/moves but I still have the pilot/driver in it. Stickers are quite pristine on it as well.
DeleteI had that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with the inflatable raft! Loved the movie, still do.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this plastic Chitty before Baron. I was amazed to find it. I need the four figures now!
DeleteI have never seen that Mattel CCBB before, what a wonderful toy. I loved the movie, and have it on DVD. In fact it was the first movie I ever bought on DVD, before I even had a DVD player.
ReplyDeleteMe neither Paul. I thought it wAs a Corgi prototype!!!!! Lovely thing with it's raft. 20 pence! Can you believe it!
DeleteMystery figs might be Power Ranger-centric
ReplyDeleteCheers Brian. Could well be.
Delete20 pence ? You lucky boy. That was a great find. British car boot sales are amazing.
ReplyDeleteCheers Paul.
