Last week I was discussing Luke's blue Bantha milk from a New Hope with Junior. He's a seven year old Star Wars fan so he knows about this stuff!
We were chewing the cud when he said that he's seen Luke milking a Bantha. I said no way but he was certain.
He tapped a few keys on the TV remote and lo and behold there was Luke milking something.
He was a much older bearded Luke, the grizzled hermit in the Last Jedi.
Here's a still from the scene.
Turns out Junior was half right. Its not a Bantha but a Thala-Siren and its milk is green.
In reality the prop is coconut water CGI'd green.
Blue milk, green milk? Are there any other milks in Star Wars or come to that, any other drinks?
There's a bar here in Los Angeles called the Scum and Villainy Cantina. You can get blue milk and a ton of other sci-fi drinks there.
