I love the set of four Universal Studios Monsters Burger King released back in 1997.
These were the classics I remembered and enjoyed as a kid. They are a bit large when placed next to the other Halloween figures that I set out for display, but they still look cool.
From Vegas Castle Dracula!

These were excellent quality giveaways. Can't top the classic Universal gang, Ed.
ReplyDeleteYou're absotively, posilutely correct Tony! I was a child of the '50s and for the life of me could never get into Christopher Lee as 'Dracula'. That may sound sacrilegious but for me, Bela Lugosi was always THE Dracula! That image was cemented in my mind after getting the bejesus scared out of me reading Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and picturing Legosi in the part.
DeleteWow, I missed these! Universal Dracula rocks!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great figure. I do not remember seeing these in New Zealand, but I might have just missed them.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at that pivot on Vlad's feet..
ReplyDeleteI assume if you turn it, he rises up out of his casket like Max Shrek's Nosferatu!
Yes, that's exactly what he does Lewis. Although I must say he doesn't do it well as his feet tend to come loose from the little pegs they sit on and he falls over as if he just drank blood from a sot! LOL
