Lovely badges Will. The old junior cinema ones take me back. I used to to ABC matinees and mornings and can well imagine a badge like that. We had three cinemas in Preston, ABC, Odeon and Ritz. Happy days!
That ABC Minors badge instantly caught my attention. I never had one, but my friends did! Is that the standard issue or the much coveted glow-in-the-dark version?
Hi Lewis.tested the abc minors badge over the weekend by leaving it in the light, it did indeed glow in the dark! Thanks for the info. I would never have tried it otherwise. Cheers. Will O.
Murray Mints harks back to one of the first commercials on British TV. What annoys me is that there are badges for The Gaumont and ABC Cinemas Saturday Mornings for kids but not from The Odeon Cinemas where my friends and I went. We didn't get badges!
Never hurry a Murray! I went to the Odeon too Terranova. Cineworld isn't a patch on it. Besides, there's no intermission nowadays and that means no choc ices!
What? No "Howard the Duck for President?!" That's outrageous! https://www.pinterest.com/pin/howard-the-duck--421790321338675837/
