Like Lewis I've got lost in Skullbrain.
One of Moog's amazing Japanese entries is this superb plastic model of a Stingray and a Terrorfish, as well as various other craft.
I adore the bright colours and the modular pods on stilts are fantastic.
Do you like it?
Anyone got it?
Here's The Moog's catalogue page for all the Imai stacks like the Stingray one. What a great idea and the final shot in the bottom right corner is staggering. Like an underwater city!
All new to me! I've no idea what theyr'e actually called. You?
Oooh! I haven't got that far yet. Skullbrain is an endless Funhouse of mirrors, reflecting back the deepest desires of our inner Boomer child!
ReplyDeleteI can only suggest you run that photo through Google Lens with the Translate function on and it will give you overlaid subtitles, just like that picture of the Topo Gigio mask. All you have to do is then take a screen grab and it's preserved for posterity!
You might want to split the photo into smaller chunks to reduce the strain on Google's robot brain!
