Scalextric have announced they plan to release a 1/32 scale Fab 1 slot car.
It's expected to be available Spring, 2024, and as is common nowadays, it's open for pre-order, and will retail for £53.99.

why the sudden resurgence in Anderson memorabilia from the Hornby fold? First Stingray and now this. Are they ahead of the curve with future developments, ir jyst tapping in to established markets?
ReplyDeleteWhy not! In the case of Corgi , they aim a lot of their products at the nostalgia market. I don't know if the same applies to Scalextric, as I've only got a James Bond racing set. My other two slot cars are the Batmobile and The Green Hornet Black Beauty which are Polar Lights reissues. Either way I'll be adding both Stingray and FAB 1 to my collection.
DeleteI wasnt expecting much till the 60th anniversary (and since theres been nothing XL5 that I can see, I had given up hope) so next year for Stingray and a heap of Tbirds for 2024. Maybe theyre getting in early?
DeleteThat FAB1 looks good to me Scoop, thanks for sharing. I was never a slot car kid back in the day but I bet this pink rolls looks superb zooming round a track chasing some nefarious motor!
