Excellent job, Kev, always good to see a Space:1999 connection. I've seen a couple of scratch built examples with yellow tinted plastic, at various conventions.
I think the original used tanks off the Revell Gemini spaceship kits, they are on the roof of the Shado mobile for example. I didn't have any, so scratchbuilt mine from some aluminium tube, plasticard and some domed cupboard door stops!
