I notice they were careful not to make the logo too similar to Thundercats! Am I imagining it, or has the increasing importance of IP cut down on lookalike toys? I still see blatant bootlegs (Ironman and Superman) in the Asian stores, but the western markets seem to be rigorously patrolled these days!
I know what you mean Looey. Knockoffs used to be so much fun when me and the Missus and daughter holidayed on Crete in the 90's. Fantastic old toy shops full of vintage stuff, modern remakes and countless knockoffs of Batman at the time. Happy days!
Tumbling tanks eh ?
ReplyDeleteRussian are they ?
I think the more common term is flip over for these kind of toys Mish. There's even a Century 21 toys flip over vehicle.
