The subject of PEZ and Scooby Doo recently came up. Very Halloween!
I recall seeing these in the shops a little while ago, although I did not actually get a set. The five main characters from the series: Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Freddie, Daphne, and Velma, were all available. Each comprised a moulded plastic head, atop a standard PEZ dispenser.
The Scooby gang were available individually on blister cards, in plastic bags, or all together in a large set. The packaging resembled the Mystery Machine van - I think this is simply a printed cardboard box. I never saw any of these sets, just the individually carded versions.

A lovely set Paul. The mystery machine set looks superb and I can see it being a collectable of the future.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at the longevity of Scooby Doo! It really has become a cartoon institution, whilst shows like Squiddley Diddley or Frankeinstein Junior have slid into oblivion!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, imagine, a Frankie Jr. Pez!
