Is that an older version Looey? There's a red cab Optimus Prime in the charity shop too but it's twenty pounds. I got the White Magnus for nine pounds.
The blue part is of Ultra Magnus. Collecting Transformers is a difficult game as collectors are very exacting and there's an awful lot of similar models. Battle Convoy was the original Takara release of the toys, before they got into bed with Hasbro in the 80's. I had Bandai Robo Machines and Rock Lords, but never bothered with TF, there were just far too many of them to try and keep up.
Not really, but got a chance to get the Hasbro G1 1986 Fortress Maximus this summer. Very impressive, heavyweight chap!
ReplyDeleteSounds amazing Arto! What a great name!
DeleteI had the G1 Optimus when he was still Battle Convoy and came with two tiny jointed figures who rode in his cab!

ReplyDeleteIsn't the whole white cab Ultra Magnus. I checked a TF site and it seemed to show it as that.
