A trip around a local town brought us to this antique shop's windows.
There were some nice vintage die-casts nestled among the watches, James Bond's DB5 and others.
Apologies for the dodgy guy reflected in the glass!

In the lower photograph I see both the gold and silver versions of the DB5, and the Toyota 2000GT, all with their boxes. Nice. I am sure they were also expensive.
ReplyDeleteYoure right Paul. I think the gold DB5 was over £500!
DeleteSome real jewels among that jewelry! Interpol now alerted to you casing the joint, Woodsy.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's my reflection in the windows too Charles!
DeleteSecond photo, bottom left just peeking in. A corgi racing car, Porsche I think. I had one as a kid.
ReplyDeleteah yes, well spotted Kev! I think I had one too!
DeleteI had the gold Aston Martin !
ReplyDeleteI had no idea the gold one was inaccurate, as a kid.
We wouldn't have been bothered as kids Mish I don't think as long as it looked the business. I remember the box and the inner being brilliant, all foldy-outy inside like the Batmobile's, with stuff stashed inside the base.
DeleteI had the first gold one too, with spare ejectsble passenger and little cloth 007 sticker that i put on my bike. Bill
DeleteThe James Bond bike! That must be a first Billster!
