The Missus and me had an enjoyable mooch around the local car boot this morning. All sorts of things for sale and best of all lots of bargains.
For interest I have noted down some of the prices we paid.
Might Max play head [empty] 20p, penny drop machine 50p, Quoits 50p, Monsumo case and figures 30p, 5 die-casts including 1974 Hot Wheels £1, 6 action figures including 1979 Boba Fett £3. Cap America helmet 50p.
For the gardening spirit in us these two old artefacts were irresistible. Old branch cutter and metal trough £1 each.
Next job is to identify everything properly.
Have you snaffled anything of late?
Recently got an Imai Spectrum helicopter kit and have just successfully bid on two original Duracell battery tv ad robots!
ReplyDeleteThe kit sounds great Kev and best of luck on the robots! TV history that!
DeleteHad a blast on Saturday with the Aurora USS Saratoga (1962), Airfix 1685 Playset Series Robin Hood Sherwood set (1969), and Timpo 1150 Desert Fort (1971) all at one and the same place! Does not happen every day I must say :)
ReplyDeleteTimpo 1500 that is
DeleteWhat a haul that is Arto! You have the best collectiblles venues in Finland!
DeleteAlways enjoy seeing the haul of your Sunday hunts, Woodsy. Haven't done any yet myself, but looking forward to hitting the booties again and seeing what's waiting to be found this year.
ReplyDeleteAlso, kudos to Arto who hit the Jackpot... well done Arto!
