I do love a good monster paw print. There are two that really had an impact on me. Both from the 1950's and both seem invisible at first.
The monster from the id stalking the ship in Forbidden Planet. Who can forget those one-toed footprints and those creepy boinging steps!
The Demon in Night of the Demon, that huge fire devil summoned by the runes. There is a classic scene where the monster pads its way along the forest floor.
Have you got a fave footstep?
Paranormal Activity, the victims of a haunting cover their bedroom floor in talcum powder, it even has 3 toes like the monster of the Id!
ReplyDeleteNever seen that MJ. I have a thing about found footage/ shaky camera films, not my cuppa tea. I'm intrigued now though!
DeleteJonny Quest episode The Invisible Monster. I think mainly because I saw this as a child and Hoyt Cirtin's music makes it stick in your mind. The use of a Theramin for it's cries adds to its otherworldly spookiness.
