How was your Christmas readers? Warm? Cool? Snug? A few of you celebrating or a cast of thousands? Did you get anything from Santa?
Is Xmas over?

A quiet and relaxing Christmas at home. Just me. Got some modelling done, and made a start on my first Flyhawk kit, the Sunderland flying boat base. Started on the Sunderlands on Boxing Day. This is going to take a while - everything is so tiny (and delicate) in 1/700th scale. Did have a look around the shops on Boxing Day - not as busy as I had expected. Very warm here, so I did my best to stay out of the sun.
ReplyDeleteSounds cozy Paul. Glad you has a peaceful time.
DeleteQuiet and small for us too.
ReplyDeleteLucky enough to get two NECA sci fi figures, King Kong and Godzilla and a UFO TV series comic strip anthology book from Anderson Entertainment.
Will have to wait for my Eaglemoss Space1999 Eagle die cast, unfortunately, as it won't be available till late January.
Now thats a toy filled crimbo worthy of the early Seventies Mish!
DeleteA small Christmas, with just dinner with the immediate family and then running my model trains later in the evening. My dog received more gifts than I did, which is only right as he is a Very Good Boy.
ReplyDeleteThats heart warming to know your dog got lots of prezzies, Steve. One of mine helped himself to a plate of garlic bread, dragged me around a nature reserve and frightened the beejeezus out of a passing terrier. But he still got a new toy.
DeleteThat Very Good Boy made me chuckle Steve! Its a time for animals too for sure.
DeleteA good time had by all here, immediate family only. Ate too much, drank too much and fell asleep in an armchair.
ReplyDeleteWake up Wote! Its New Year!
