I've been enjoying a milkshake when I got home since I was a kid. When I got home from school I'd reach for the Nesquik and now when I get home from work I do the same. Like pancakes, there's something simply delicious about milkshakes.
What's your treat when you get in? Was it the same as a kid?
My parents used to gasp when they got home,"I could really use a cuppa tea!" As my own years have advanced, I find myself sharing that sentiment. My choice of poison is Yorkshire Tea which has become more available here in recent years. The only comparable brand is Twining's Australian Afternoon blend!
ReplyDeleteHmm, with a McVities Digestive, it's grand -or Bonzer!
Mmm, Yorkshire Tea. Just suppin' a fine pot of the hot brew right now Looey! They've done a good job marketing it globally by the sounds of it!
DeleteI have no idea what Yorkshire Tea is. I have heard of, and drunk, English Breakfast and Earl Grey, but usually drink the Choysa brand. Tea gets me through the day.
ReplyDeleteWhat is Choysa Paul?
DeleteChoysa is a brand of tea, at least here in New Zealand. The box says 'our cuppa since 1905', so it has been around a while. Produced now by Unilever Australasia. Leaf tea in packets, or tea bags (square, and joined in pairs), or round. I still need to know what Yorkshire tea is, a type like English breakfast, etc, or something else ?
ReplyDeleteyep Paul, its a breakfast tea made in Yorkshire, England's biggest county. Very tastey and very popular. Current TV ads feature Yorkshireman Sean Bean [Boromir in LOTR trilogy] and are hilarious https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cipMoGKXGE
