I always enjoy watching old reels showing fabulous vehicles. There were more amazing vehicles produced than I ever imagined and sometimes bring the visions of the TV21 artists to life.
I watched this clip on You Tube of the 1939 Snow Cruiser and immediately thought of the Snow Train, which featured prominently in the Project SWORD Annual.

I'm sure it will remind you of other fictional vehicles. I wonder what happened to the Snow Cruiser?
Did you have any snow toy vehicles?
Just found a documentary on this vehicle on You Tube, it ended up buried under the ice of Antarctica. The large flat rear deck was to allow for the carriage of a Beech Staggerwing bi-plane for reconnaissance work.

My only toy snow vehicle was a Matchbox Snow Trac, which I still have, although the off-white rubber tracks are long gone.
Yes, I had the polar snow trac. Mine was red. I often see them at car boot sales. How weird that the Snow Train is buried under the ice! I wonder what future generations will make of it if its found say in a thousand years? Would it still exist then? Will antarctica still exist? I better leave this one alone!
