Most interesting. Especially the information about the small toys that came with butter, margarine, and soap. Any chance of some pictures ? We had nothing like this in NZ, at least not that I can recall. I agree about what now counts as a 'vintage' toy, it does now seem to be the 1980s and 1990s. You only have to look at Laura Legends or Bella's Toy Chest on You Tube - everything is, to me at least, very modern stuff. Not at all what I grew up with, but I suppose these ladies are a lot younger than I am, and would be unfamiliar with the toys of the 1960s and 1970s.
