I love a good watch.
This is a Vianni Halter Deep Space Tourbillon 10 Quill and Pad.
Wow!
Also cool is this Spacex-inspired wristwatch.
Having said that this plastic Shuttle watch is pretty darn smart as well!
Have you a space watch readers?
Did you have one as a kid?
I had the Newmark moon landing one, as seen in the SpacexII LEM promotion.
ReplyDeleteReally, wow Kev! What, did you have the LEM? Have you still got it?
DeleteI haven't got the watch now, sadly, it was about 1974/5 when I had it. I didn't get it with the LEM, just as a watch. I do have a SpacexII LEM now though!
Deleteha ha, so you completed the set over a 40 year period! I had a go at making the box a few years back for my own LEM! https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-G9J3UVLwY8Q/Utw16ZvUviI/AAAAAAAAdZE/Rf3GoBsnq7E/s1600/darth+tomy+2.jpg
DeleteI had a Sincliar Black Watch, with red LED readout and buttonless 'touch' activation. The most futuristic watch of the late 70s.
ReplyDeleteMish.
Sounds amazing Mish. Very James Bond .... or Brett Sinclair! Have you got pics of you wearing it?
DeleteNo, but I think I still have it somewhere. I'll try to dig it out. It doesn't work though.

Great Mish.
DeleteNo space stuff, but I have a rather nice Russian watch (proper wind-up one!) with emerald green face and Mig jets in formation on,which I still wear from time to time.
ReplyDeleteSounds great Andy. Any chance of a snap?
DeleteI miss watches. No really good inexpensive ones available around here anymore. Better to tell time with your $400 cellphone!
ReplyDeleteI miss watches. I loved tacky toy ones as a kid. My first proper watch was a Timex.
