This lot of of cards on an old auction brought back memories.

Centre left are Cadbury's Strange but True cards. Remember them?

I recall these thin cards that were tucked inside chocolate bars.

We never got things like this in NZ. I do remember a bubble gum set of Peter Pan cards (1960s ?), and many years later there was a Star Wars set with plain chocolate bars - but was there anything in between ?

Yes, it was tied to the film, as all the characters on the cards were exactly the same as in the film. I seem to recall that the cards were available at the time the film was re-issued, as happened every few years with Disney. I do not think I had the full set, and was missing a few cards, but it was a very long time ago, and I can not be certain.
