Moonbase Junior has the space bug alright.
This is his lovely concentric solar system model on his window sill, sadly minus Pluto. A cosmic travesty!
Just below it is his Lego rocket set, with the Saturn V -style gantry, which I love! Check out who's at the control panel!
One day a kid like Junior will land on Mars and even beyond, a mind-boggling thought!
Would you go to Mars?
While it is nice to see the Earth accompanied by the Moon, it is sad to see Pluto missing - our ninth planet has been eliminated from all modern depictions of the Solar System due to an evil conspiracy against this noble planet. Long live Pluto.
ReplyDeleteNice Frog, who is the maker ?
Not sure but if he was a German space worker it would be WASSER! Not very funny that, since Wasser doesn't really rhyme with NASA does it! I wonder if frogs have ever been sent into space? Hope not.
DeleteYes - its Plutoist! As its been shown that Pluto itself has moons, it should be re-instated as a planet. BTW thats not a Lego rocket, is it playmobil?
ReplyDeleteNot Lego? I'll ask Junior. What are Pluto's moons' names?
DeleteThis wouldn't have happened when Patrick Moore was in charge of space!
ReplyDeleteHe was the face of space wasn't he kev. I know Brian May and Brian Cox have tried to replace him but not sure it's worked. He was the Attenborough of the heavens.
DeleteWould only go to Mars if it's namesake candy bar was there waiting.
ReplyDeleteha ha, yes, as you passed large swathes of Milky Way and creamy swirls of the Galaxy! just hope you don't meeet those Curly Wurlys on the surface!
DeleteI have just looked this up, Pluto has five known moons. From closest to furthest, these are Charon (discovered 1978); Styx (2012); Nix (2005); Kerberos (2011); and Hydra (2005). That is four more than Earth. Totally unfair to Pluto, which is a real planet.
