Its been a funny old week.
Our wild Yellow Flag had its final day of flowering.
Last weekend also started off with decent weather and me and the missus were able to sit out in the Moonbase garden very briefly.
But the heavens opened on Monday and even the Playmobil we got ready for Junior got drenched!
The rain never let up so mid-week I had a go at some card making using rotring pens.
Here's one with a letter from Dracula I wrote on the cover, copied from Stoker's book.
Have you made your own cards readers?
On Thursday Moonbase Junior arrived for 5 days as we are part of the family bubble with his young parents. We got to see our fave little fella and they got a welcome break with their new Moonbase baby.
We always get Junior a few 'new' toys when he comes over and here's three we picked up at a recently opened charity shop: a plastic Casdon letter box, a Jade HotWheels car and a lovely tin spinning top.
We were ecstatic in that charity shop, the first we've been in since February!
Junior road tested all three and all his other stuff but mostly he enjoyed the dry weather over the weekend, when he spent all his time harvesting and washing spuds, carrots, peas, apples and plums from the Moonbase veg and fruit plot!
It's Junior's farm! [like the Wings' song!]
Moonbase Junior goes home tomorrow.
We're gonna miss the little fella.
My normal blogging/ commenting/replying will resume tomorrow night.
