Lovely weathering paintwork! I remember my SpaceX rocket was green and as a kid, that really bothered me! (Shades of the Dinky UFO Interceptor!) I remember painting it white -an early use of a spray can, but had a lot of trouble covering the bright green effectively. You have none of those problems in this wonderful poster!
Thanks very much, I appreciate that. Yep, I have tried to stick to roughly the right colours for the toys, I was lucky that the Golden Astronaut version of this one was white or I would have had no choice!
Amazing work kevin - you should make them available to order!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It was an impulse buy when I was at Max Spielman, they can print posters from your phone!
ReplyDeleteFab poster Kev! Good old Max Speilman! Has that Dalek opened the cupboard?
ReplyDeleteThanks, I never know what that Dalek gets up to but I have my suspicions!
DeleteWow, just stunning. It looks as though it has just rolled out of the Vehicle Assembly Building.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I was doing my best to imitate that vibe!
DeleteFantastic scene for a fab poster :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, it seems to represent that era.
