I enjoyed this homage to the Imai Zero X kit by a typically reverential Japanese fan. I particularly liked the vintage photos at the start of kids with Imai kits!
The Japanese really took the Supermarionation universe to heart - I think it was the Anderson programs which largely kick-started the whole Japan SF pop culture phenom of the 1960s and beyond, and for that I am eternally grateful! In addition to the Supermarionation kits and toys and models, of course there were all those wonderful and bizarre knock-offs, which I personally like even better than the C21 "canon." But man oh man was that a golden age!
