APPLAUSE FOR THE NHS

Last night at 8pm here in the UK many people went outside very briefly to offer a round of applause for our heroic health workers in the NHS, all at the coal face of the pandemic and risking their lives everyday for the rest of us.

Hearing the clapping in the street brought a lump to my throat and I felt immensely proud of our NHS and all the health workers across the world who put themselves in harm's way to save us during this catastrophe.
