SIXTEEN 12 12" EAGLES: THE STORY SO FAR

With the imminent, and eagerly awaited soon-to-be- released Sixteen 12 deluxe Hangar set, and the V.I.P. Eagle, here's a few of my previous photos showcasing what collectors have had so far.

The 12" Eagle Freighter from 'Breakaway', complete with pallet, nuclear cylinders and nuclear cover.

The Immunity Syndrome Eagle complete with Glider.

The 'Exiles' Eagle set, complete with nuclear fuel pod and cryogenic capsule.

'New Adam, New Eve' Eagle, complete with additional side boosters.

The Retro Eagle Transporter using the colours seen on the vintage Dinky toy. Sixteen 12 are treating collectors to a Retro Blue Freighter version soon.

The latest release is the 12" 'Signature' Edition, which is limited to 300 and each signed by Brian Johnson.

If all goes to plan the next release will be the Deluxe Hanger Set, which features the Laboratory Eagle with addition boosters as seen in 'The Metamorph', and an updated Winch Eagle. The set comes with an Eagle Hanger diorama to display them, plus in- scale figures including an 'Alan Carter' astronaut, and pod steps.

The team at Sixteen 12 are currently very busy sorting out all the packing and shipment details, which will obviously take some time, but I think it goes without saying it will be worth the wait. 

Also due for release at the same time is the 'Breakaway' part 2 set featuring a V.I.P. Eagle with updated bold pod painted detail, and a Laser Tank complete with driver. The photos below show the prototype version

Future releases include the 'Collision Course' set. My photos below show the prototype version of the nuclear mines and cradle. However, I should point out that Sixteen 12 have since revised and improved the design of the mines and cradle for the general release.

Apart from the Retro Blue Freighter I mentioned previously, further planned releases include a Deluxe Special Edition 'Earthbound' set.
