This is an interesting take on the Moon Scout I saw on auction.
A more bitty version of the well-known walking toy. It seems to have been made using plastic tiles and shapes.
The base appears to be the same as the Scout.
The ALFA box is reminiscent of a Greek cake box in my eyes.
What do you think of this toy?
Glad you brought up this up, Woodsy. For me it has a special charm with its clunky construction, bright colours and odd design, which sits well with the Nomura Moon Scouts. The yellow antenna must be one of the most elaborate around. I also love the box with the Greek key ornament. There is also a space gun by ALFA in a similar open-window box.
ReplyDeleteI love the antenna Arto. Reminds me of something out of a Christmas Cracker we have somewhere. I always loved the Nomura Scout, one of the first second hand toys I ever found as a collector. Yes, I've seen that toy rifle in a similar box too.
