Hello,
Andersonic here:
As you've previously been a reader of Andersonic, I'm just emailing to let you know about the new issue.
Issue 25 is now available via our website www.andersonic.co.uk (and eBay for a short period in the Collectibles > SF > Thunderbirds section) and features the following:-
Joy Cuff Interview - Joy sculpted numerous characters for the first season of Thunderbirds including Jeremiah & Ma Tuttle and the Duchess of Royston. She also later went on to work with Stanley Kubrick on 2001: A Space Odyssey. Joy recalls her time on both productions and shares her collection of rarely (if ever) seen behind-the-scenes photographs.
Anderson Title Sequences - What makes a good title sequence? Does the source material have to be top notch or is it just down to slick editing and a rousing theme?
Stingray - Star of the East & Eastern Eclipse - Mike Coldwell takes a look at El Hudat's pair of episodes with input from the voice of El Hudat himself, David Graham.
Space 1999 - Mark Braxton looks at The AB Chrysalis, an episode from the second series of Space: 1999.
UFO - Richard Farrell casts a critical eye over Sub-Smash.
The Lost City - we look at the influence this seminal episode of Supercar had on later series.
UFO comic strip 'Trojan Horse' - the second installment of our new comic strip in colour.
... and a few other things.
The fanzine is 44 pages, A5 in size with colour inner and outer covers & b/w interior.
If you'd prefer to pay by cheque or PO, please get in touch for our new postal address. Back issues are also (mostly) in print.
Thanks for supporting the fanzine - it's very much appreciated. Please feel free to forward this email to anyone who may be interested and do give us a plug on Facebook or other platforms. Contributions are always very welcome and a bit of feedback always brightens our day.
Please bear in mind that all issues are posted in pristine condition and we can't be held responsible for any damage in transit.
If you'd prefer not to hear from us regarding future issues, just send an email headed 'Unsubscribe' and we'll do the rest.
Best wishes
Richard
