The Pilot Ship from the Space:1999 two- parter,' Bringers of Wonder'. The model was made by Martin Bower and uses kit parts from an Airfix Eagle for some of the detailing. The rear engine bells are from an Airfix Saturn V kit.
Mercenary Jet Fighter, one of three seen in the Secret Service Episode, ' Errand of Mercy'.
The two scaled miniatures of Staff Plane' XQR', seen in the Captain Scarlet episode, 'The Trap'.
The Angel Interceptor from Captain Scarlet and The Mysterons. This restored screen used model was retained by SFX director Derek Meddings when the series finished filming.

DeleteThat is quite an amazing display of models! I wasn't aware of the show Space Precinct! I will have to look it up!
ReplyDeleteSpace Precinct was produced in the mid nineties a long time after the initial unaired pilot, Space Police (starring the late Shane Rimmer) which was made in the eighties went through several development make-overs.

DeleteIt is great to see that so many original models have survived, many of them displayed in front of a blue screen as if up and ready for some FX shooting.

I don't think so,Arto, I've certainly not seen it at any of the events I've been to.
