This winter I have been in correspondence with reader Bernard Dunne, who has a fabulous collection of non-space-related Century 21 Publishing books.
Bernard has kindly shared images of his book covers, together with information he has compiled about further C21 publications.
This includes a wonderful up-to-date checklist of non-space titles, which you will find at the end of this post [it does include Project SWORD however].
All the following images have been kindly provided by Bernard Dunne.
Bernard's research perfectly compliments my own listing published on the blog previously
http://projectswordtoys.blogspot.com/2013/08/century-21-publishing-general-books-and.html
At some point I will merge the 2 posts.
Some of Bernard's images are scans and as such are much better images than those in my previous posting.
Publication years will be added soon.
Enjoy!

The first Monkees Annual has lots of (c) notes for another company but the only (c) for Century 21 is on one page beneath an advert for 'Lady Penelope' Comic.
The Animals at the Zoo book one is (c) Century 21 Merchandising rather than Century 21 Publishing.
Topo Gigio The Little Country Cottage was originally published, in the same format, by Bonanza Books in 1965 and later Century 21 in 1967. The same could apply to At The Circus.
Possibly related but not Century 21:

What a great collection of vintage kids books, Woodsy. There's just something special about the artwork and pics used on the covers - brilliant. Thanks for posting them, Bernard. Really enjoyed looking at them :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent research & wonderful to see so many C21 titles all at once.
ReplyDeleteFor those interested, three other covers of the "Animals" Series can be found here

unearthed by Woodsy (& thus solving the mystery of a Finnish version of Animals as Pets - thanks again!).
Glad you like it guys.
