Hi Paul, I don't think I've ever designed a custom box, although I do indulge my love of all things 1960’s, even recreating the style of radio shows broadcast at that time! [A bit like a custom box for radio] – A good couple of years ago I used to present a weekly music/documentary on Radio Hafren called 60’s Extra. I presented 86 shows which comprised the first series. Recently, I decided to revive the programme. So, on Christmas Day at 8PM, we’ve got a brand-new series of 60’s Extra starting on Celtica Radio.
This is the first time I’ve ever revived a long-gone show, so I’m beginning to understand the things you must consider when you do this. Just like a custom box, you can Xerox some things, and other things you have to change, or adapt to get it to all fit in for present day consumption.
Have you ever thought about designing a custom box for SWORD or SpaceX, if the line were still being produced now?
I like your idea of re-radioed shows Bill. That one on Xmas Day sounds special. Well done.
I've done designs for modern toys in SWORD and SpaceX styles but I've never updated the actual brands I don't think. ie. the font and the lay out. Like many nostalganauts I get uneasy when classic brands are tinkered with although it would be interesting to see how SWORD and Spacex could be 'modernised'. Maybe I'll ask readers for ideas!
I don't think there is anything wrong with tinkering a little with classic brands. Gerry Anderson did it himself with Thunderbirds, when he produced the two Cinema films and the second series. Much of it, like the fonts and title cards were exactly the same, but there were new puppets of different proportions and even some of the craft were slightly updated.
So why not have a go, you are probably best placed out of all of us to know. I think when the changes make something completely unrecognisable, that is when its over-modernised.
Toys that support children's learning should be considered by parents of one-year-olds. Learning may take many different forms and is not simply confined to one or two topics. According to the information and specifics on the bespoke Custom toy boxes, purchase toys for your children. Customers will then be aware of how to use the toys to teach their children new skills. Some of the top toys for this use are listed below: DMX Duo This toy is very popular among local kids because it is so entertaining. It is a board with a computer-like shape that is covered in soft rubbers. The colours and shapes of the rubbers vary. Kids who repeatedly press their fingers may develop stronger fingers.

A project for 2019 maybe. Cheers Bill.
