I saw this on the Bay.

I like the look of it.

The Space Vehicles.

So I saved the piccies.

Wind-up, the three vehicles were released by Star Toys.

They remind me a lot of Matchbox Mobile Action Command.

Do you like them?

they are almost direct copies of Matchbox MAC vehicles!

I agree Bill, I imagine they used them to make molds from. The Space Crawler is almost identical, same configuration, even the spotlight is the same mold. Steering wheel is the same style also. I owned a few of them, a pontoon boat, helicopter, 2 fire trucks, the ambulance that the crawler is ripped from, and the large vehicle that could hold one of the small ones in the back. I actually still have that one although it is missing a couple of pieces off the cherry picker basket.

So they are MAC doubles after all! Fantastic. They look like pretty decent toys, although I don't know Star Toys at all.

Iv got a few MAC toys, including the Mountain HQ. I'd love to get hold of the large transporter, but they don't turn up very often.

The bodies of the vehicles are slightly foreshortened, so they are a little smaller than standard MAC toys, presumably to make them fit around the clockwork motor

Hey Bill, by the large transporter, do you mean the MC 500 Rescue Van? That is the one I still have although a little worse for wear. I can send you pics or send to Woodsy for the blog. If you're interested, have Woodsy give you my email and maybe we can strike a deal.
