Some very short boat clips taken by Family Moonbase whilst out and about off-world this month in the lovely Norfolk Broads
The 'Viking' steamboat at the Museum of the Broads
The Vikings setting off to pillage the village
A handsome russet sailed yacht slowly idling past St. Benets Abbey
A small pleasure craft at Toad Hole Cottage
Its enough to make me want to get some toy boats out on the local duck pond!
Do you like boats?
That is all just so beautiful, so idyllic Woodsy. My favourite place to be.
ReplyDeleteI love boating and boats as long as I do not have to steer them. Tried a houseboat for a week on the Llangollen route a decade back, and it was a bit of a struggle for a first-timer at times. However, with a little bit of cooperation we managed the trip quite all right.
It was one of those things to try once in your life, and it was all worth it. Would do it anytime just to enjoy it all - with someone else at the helm!
ha ha, but you did it Arto! I've never steered a boat apart from when I was a kid. I think they had motor boats for children at Butlins or Blackpool Pleasure Beach!
