Terence Conran furniture was the height of design and desirability back in the Sixties and Seventies. In fact I have a thick book of his stuff called the House Book. Did he design this boat then Terran?
No idea who designed it, though I believe the great man himself approved what was sold in his stores.
In the UK his stores were called Habitat but someone else registered the name in the US so he used his name instead. The boat is about a foot long and is very well weighted, a good pond yacht.
Interesting. It reminds me of those other high-quality toys back then with the DESIGN CENTRE LONDON or similar emblazoned on the boxes, a sort of black and white circular logo. I remember a cash till being one. They must have been well designed to get the stamp of approval.
