2001 P20NEEL FLY SAUCER
[how do you pronounce P20neel?]
Yep, its another Flying Sub knockoff!
And here's the ROBOTIC STUNT CYCLE.
Is that a Cylon Centurion slouched in the seat?
and last but not least, its SILVERBAT.
I imagine this is quite collectable among batman collectors!
What do you think readers?
Knock-off's are the icing on the cake for collectors! I've got a discount warehouse near me that I found a "Legends of the Bark knight" the box art was Simon Bisley, the figure was a mash-up of all the "legends" figures and even came with a 50 word blurb about "The Bark Knight", Priceless!! - Mark J
ReplyDeleteha ha, the Bark Knight! I love that MJ! What on earth did they have to say about him in 50 words? And just who is Simon Bisley?
DeleteI love quirky knock-off's, Woodsy. They can put the 'fun' in dysfunctional and generate an obscure fallout for collectors to find. Often cheap, cheerful and occasionally cheerless, they're soon damaged and discarded.
ReplyDeleteLove 'em or hate, 'em, as the wild cards of the pack, they can become sought after in their own right :)
The fun in dysfunctional! That's the pun of the year Tone and the title of my next book on knockoffs! ha ha. I agree, knockoffs are super brill. Have you found any lately?
