COUNTDOWN TO SHADO CON 2

In a months time I'll be heading over to Derby and SHADO Con 2. I know there's a few of you who read my posts on the blog are big UFO fans and might just be gearing up to go too.

I've already blogged about what will feature at the day & evening event but here's the latest info on what to expect.

There'll be a screening of the feature film 'Doppelganger'

There's a couple of  guests that weren't at the last Con. David Collings, who appeared in the episode, Psychobombs (as well as guesting in cult series'  Dr Who, Blake's Seven and Sapphire and Steel)

David Sumner, who appeared in 'Kill Straker'. He also made guest appearances in The Avengers ,  and many of the cult ITC series like the Saint, Dept.S and Man In A Suitcase)

Original Century 21 Special Effects Technician, Alan Shubrook is doing a UFO 'Behind the Scenes' one-hour presention. 

The popular Ayshea Brough is returning to chat about  UFO as well as her days presenting the seventies pop show, Lift-Off.

Director Alan Perry is making a return appearance. 

Another chance to hear actor and Hans Solo body stand-in, Alan Harris

Mega prop collector, James Winch is bringing along his restored Shado Jeep, as well as other original props.

There's also fan produced displays and traders, all geared up with the UFO fan in mind.

It's also worth mentioning that this will be the last UFO convention that Markers Universal will produce so another reason to get down to Derby.
