Robotix is a modular building system originally marketed by Milton Bradley in the 80’s. It has small plug in motors and loads of intercheangeable parts to make all kinds of vehicles and spacecraft, all scaled conveniently for the 3.5 inch figure. Robotix came with one of four different astronaut figures too, technically superior to Kenners Star Wars figures at the time. Since re-issued in awful lime green and orange colour schemes by a couple if other makers including Learning Curve. one of the best space construction toys ever. and it has a rather naff cartoon tie in too..
different to Capsela and almost compatible, using the hexagonal fitting. Capsela has a more mechanical bent, focussing on engineering theory in self contained capsules, whereas Robotix allows you to build cool motorized toys quickly.
Wasn't that had an cartoon?
