Image set 4 tomorrow!
Fab images Richard. It must have been great fun shooting them for Bluebird. I wonder how many professional toy photographers there were at the time in the UK?
ReplyDeleteYou've given us a unique and personal insight in to a quality toy range, Richard. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading about your work and seeing the images behind the story. Thanks for sharing it :)
ReplyDeleteHi all.
ReplyDeleteWas too old for this range of stuff Richard, but would have been hounding my parents for it, based on your photos, if I'd been a kid when it went out.
Great dynamic colourful visuals and lovely product shots.
Regards, Mish.
Nice to hear from you Mish. I shall pass all the comments on to Richard.
DeleteWhat did you have as a kid and do you still collect?
As a 60s child I had loads of stuff, Woodsy.
DeleteAnderson Dinky toys,Louis Marx Daleks,Action Man, Major Matt Mason, Zeroids, Corgi Bond and Batman cars,Aurora sci fi and Prehistoric Scenes kits ... and yes,one Project Sword toy. Alas, all gone long ago.
Do I still collect? Not at all, I never had that bug, strangely. But I still remember the excitement those things gave me, as a kid, and that's why I love your blog. It's a real pleasure seeing it all again, so thanks loads guys! Cheers, Mish.
Really glad you like the blog Mish. You had everything I had as a kid. What a great time we had eh!
DeleteWe sure did!
