Well, I’m well over three-quarters of the way through my
DeAgostini Model Space Thunderbird 2 build now and I have to say it’s been a
lot of fun so far.
I’m also enjoying being part of a small, but enthusiastic bunch
of fellow builders on social media, who show photos and videos of their
individual builds, and share any news from Model Space itself.
Some are also lucky enough to own Takara Thunderbird 2
models and vehicles which the build
takes its inspiration from, and occasionally take photos to compare the two.
I’ve already posted a few photos of some of the vehicles
already but here’s a rundown of what’s arrived so far.
The Mole:
Three of the four Master Elevator Cars:
The Monobrake:
Fab 1:
The Transmitter Truck:
The Excavator:
The Thunderizer & The Laser Cutter:
The Firefly:
The two Recovery Vehicles:
Thunderbird 4:
Plus, here’s a short video showing the legs being tested.
It’s noisy but it works…
Great stuff-
ReplyDeletedoes it come with a house extension to fit it all in?
Hi Andy, yeah I know what you mean, these's quite few in the collection so far. To be honest I am trying to cut down on collecting, but it is proving difficult.;)
DeleteBeautiful little video Scoop! Like Century 21 all over again! Glad yoyre enjoying the modelling. It looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Woodsy. Yeah,I am enjoying them, perfect models for photography. I'm hoping Model Space add a few extra issues at the end like they did in Japan just to keep things going a little longer
DeleteLove the close up detail your pics provide, Scoop. What a fantastic assembly of Anderson craft :
