Just as Frank Hampson based the Helijet on the Westland Dragonfly, or Sikorski S51, I modified a 1/72 scale construction kit of same.
In the background you can see Her Majesty and Prince Philip on the back of a Land Rover inspecting the Middlesex Regiment at Ingles Barracks, Mill Hill, London.
I know it's not accurate, but it's my world set in the mid 50's and that's the way it's depicted!
That's a great Kitbash Brian. Very effective. I like the royal rover in the distance! The whole diorama looks like you've put a lot of work into it. More images always welcome.
