The leaves are changing color at last. The impending full moon inspired me to dig out this Don Post Wolfman mask I've had for 40 years.
A few years ago I brought it to Mask a Palooza con and showed it to Don Post Jr. He was nice enough to pose for a pic with me!
Awooooo!

DeleteA little tidbit of info.I bought this mask at a tourist attraction in Brigantine , a seaside town near Atlantic City.Brigantine Haunted Castle Amusement Pier was a huge, evil looking castle at the end of a long strand of beach. In addition to the walk through haunted castle attraction, the pier boasted a miniature golf course, a medieval themed restaurant, an arcade, gift shops, and fishing at the end of the pier.I loved this place, but unfortunately the entire pier was lost in a fire in 1985,never to return again.I have easily found pictures and other media of this place on YouTube, if you're curious, so search away!
ReplyDeleteBrigantine! What an amazing name. The Brigants were a wild tribe here in Northern England! That pier sounds fantastic. What a shame it was lost. I bet it made it into Weird New Jersey magazine!
